Christian Rössl Christian Rössl

I am a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Magdeburg. My research interest are Computer Graphics, in particular Geometry Processing and Scientific Visualization. I teach introductory lectures on Computer Science and advanced courses on graphics and programming.

I started my career as a researcher in the Computer Graphics department at the Max-Planck Institut für Informatik in Saarbrücken in 1999, from where I received my Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in 2005. After that I did a PostDoc at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, France.

Since 2008, I am in Magdeburg with the Visual Computing group headed by Holger Theisel.
